It means that we should all be taking note of how to not only eat healthier and exercise, but take advantage of any other available resources to help our health; for example harnessing the power of essential oils.

Heart health goes hand in hand with controlling blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and keeping a healthy weight. I am going to cover some oils that can help you strive towards a healthier you.I can say from personal experience that they honestly work, I went from having stroke worthy blood pressure levels to, perfect, healthy ones in just under 6 weeks, truly remarkable.

Lets start with Lemon, drinking a glass of water with lemon EO in it each morning will help your body rid itself of toxins, so that it can run better. Adding Peppermint and Grapefruit to that as a combo will also help your lose weight, by boosting your metabolism and suppressing your appetite.

If losing weight is something you need to become healthier you can also add Endoflex or Slique to your regiment.

Endoflex is a combination of spearmint, sage, geranium, myrtle, nutmeg and german chamomile in a base of sesame oil. It works with the adrenal system to balance hormones and support the thyroid. It can be used topically, or ingested digested, 2-4 drops a day.

Slique is a unique mixture of grapefruit, tangerine, spearmint, lemon, ocotea and stevia. It is generally used through out the day to suppress hunger. The citrus oils work to boost metabolism and detox, the ocotea to control appetite and the stevia a calorie free sweetener to help flavor your beverage. You simply add 2-4 drops to your favorite drink when ever hunger arises. It should be used in conjunction with a healthy balanced diet.

As a general heart health oil there is Aroma Life, is a blend of cyrpress, marjoram, helichrysum, and ylang ylang essential oils in a base of sesame oil. It works by supporting the cardiovascular, circulatory and lymphatic systems. It lowers blood pressure, promotes better circulation, treats headaches and calms stress. It has been shown that it can lower blood pressure in just 5-10 minutes. It should be applied over the heart, under feet and under your ring finger daily.

Ylang Ylang, Ocotea and Goldenrod are some great single oils that work great for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol. You can either diffuse them or apply 1-2 drops topically on your   temples and neck every 3-4 hours through out the day.

Another of my favorites to apply through out the day is Stress Away, I am sure that this is the oil that in combination with the daily Lemon has lowered my own blood pressure. It is a combo of copaiba, lime, cedarwood, vanilla, ocotea and lavender. It smells heavenly! You can apply topically as needed through out the day for stress or relaxation, or it can be diffused to calm the whole room.

Another great supplement to assist in lowering cholesterol levels is NingXia Red, is a powerful antioxidant drink supplement. It contains wolf berries, blueberries, aronia, cherry, pomegranate and plum juices, natural stevia, grape seed extract, vanilla, orange, yuzu, lemon and tangerine essential oils. First off there is Progessence Plus, a serum made with wild yam, vitamin E, Frankincense, Bergamot, Rosewood, Clove, Cedarwood, Copiaba and Peppermint. It works similarly for menopause, but as natural hormone replacement. According to Dr. John Lee, estrogen has been linked with hair loss, weight gain, cancer, memory loss, uterine fibroids, autoimmune conditions and fatigue. So regulating your progesterone levels is an important part of remaining healthy.
